SALARY
• Range 80 ($56,433.60 – $94,884.00 Annually).
• Salary will be commensurate with experience and State of Alabama Personnel guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in Social Work from a program approved by the Council on Social Work Education.
• 72 months or more experience as a social worker in the mental health field, including…
• 24 months or more supervisory experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Possession of a license as a graduate social worker, issued by the Alabama Board of Social Work.
KIND OF WORK
• Provide leadership and supervision to the program social work staff.
• Provide direct treatment and services to the patients.
• Hold and document supervisory conferences with students.
• Train new staff and students.
• Attend monthly meetings.
• Give oral presentation at Treatment Planning Conferences.
• Gather social data, document social histories, update including psychosocial assessments, and release plans.
• Monitors social work functions on a basis by auditing charts.
• Investigate complaints from patients and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Knowledge of therapies and casework such as individual, group, and family.
• Knowledge of human behavior.
• Knowledge of social work to include family dynamics, developmental models, community, and group.
• Ability to supervise, delegate, commend, discipline, , and evaluate the work of others.
• Ability to make clinical assessments.
