National Goals in Research, Practice and Policy Materials now Available!

Goals were organized by 10 focus areas, comprised of research, practice, and policy in intellectual and developmental disabilities.

During the meeting, products were developed for a variety of audiences with the overarching goal of advancing a research agenda that will influence policy and practice for and with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities over the next 10 years.

Please find below the link to the Keynote AddressIssue Briefs and Video discussions that were held by both professionals and self-advocates on topics within the 10 focus areas (produced by the University of Minnesota’s RTC on Community Living, Institute on Community Integration).

You can also access a special issue of the AAIDD journal Inclusion, that features articles that identify the research goals by focus area and explains their importance.
