Oregon Launches New Employment Outcomes Website

EOS is one of the primary tools used by the Office of Developmental Disability Services (ODDS) to collect data from providers on employment outcomes. The purpose of this new EOS website is to give individuals more information about employment providers in their area. The expectation in Oregon is that every individual can work in a community job. It is important to find a provider that can help people to reach their employment goals. A great way for individuals to start is by researching employment service provider options.

 According to a recent news article, the new website is designed to give individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as other stakeholders, more information so they can make informed choices when choosing employment providers.

New features of the EOS include:

• A comprehensive data package (brokerage and county) combined to give a better overall picture of the data;
• A provider contact page so that individuals can more easily access provider information; and
• Easy to navigate data tables that show employment outcomes by provider name or by county.

 Individuals can find information on providers in the EOS such as:

• The number of people served by providers in different employment settings, such as “Individual Supported Employment” and “Small Group Supported Employment.”
• The average number of hours’ people work per week; and
• The average wages people make per week who use the services of this employment provider.
