NASDDDS is pleased to announce that, through the generous support of Arnold Ventures, state I/DD agencies may apply for the I/DD Duals Innovation Cohort technical assistance opportunity. This initiative’s purpose is to support selected I/DD programs to design a strategy to assure that individuals with I/DD who are dually eligible are appropriately identified and supported to receive Medicare- and Medicaid-funded benefits to the maximum extent possible. The I/DD Duals Innovation Cohort is a twelve-month technical assistance (TA) initiative to support up to 6 innovator states to receive targeted TA supports. The work of the TA cohort sets the stage for policy and program refinement that integrates individuals with I/DD who are dually eligible for the longer-term. This is achieved through a combination of didactic education, group discussion, onsite and remote TA, and strategic plan development. Contact Carrie McGraw at cmcgraw@nasddds.org for more information.
