Staff Spotlight: Megan Rose

1. In what ways does your role help support the work of NASDDDS members?

My role helps support NASDDDS members by ensuring our financial and operational processes run smoothly so our team can stay focused on serving members and advancing our mission. I assist with budgets, contracts, invoices, and internal systems that support programs, meetings, and member initiatives. Much of my work takes place behind the scenes, but I’m happy to contribute in ways that help keep things moving and support the important work we do for our members.

2. What does a typical day look like for you as a member of the NASDDDS team?

A typical day includes reviewing financial activity, managing invoices and contracts, and helping with operational needs across the organization. I also support staff and am always happy to assist wherever needed. Much of my day is spent managing priorities, supporting team needs, and helping keep things running smoothly. Every day is a little different, which keeps my work engaging and rewarding.

3. What aspects of your work bring you the most joy, and what do you enjoy most outside your professional life?

What brings me the most joy is helping others and creating solutions that make everyone’s work easier and more efficient. I enjoy being part of a mission-driven team and contributing behind the scenes to meaningful work. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, staying active through exercise, taking dance classes, traveling, listening to music, and spending quality time with my six children while making lasting memories together.
